Emmanuel TJEKNAVORIAN has opened the 75th Cheltenham Festival tomorrow, Friday 5 July, with the London Symphony Orchestra under Elim Chan. The concert will be broadcast by Classic FM at 8 PM UK time and is also Emmanuel’s UK debut. The programme:

He will make his debuts with the Gewandausorchester, DSO Berlin, the Tonhalle Orchestra, Washington National Orchestra and St. Petersburg Philharmonic over the past year. In the next few months, he will perform with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (Kensho Watanabe), Philharmonia (Temirkanov), Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (Marta Gardolinska) andSanta Cecilia (Valcuha). He will also be the 19/20 Artist in Residence at the Vienna Musikverein. Other conductors he has worked with, or is about to work with, include Alain Altinoglu, Ivor Bolton, Lionel Bringuier, Ed Gardner, Cornelius Meister, Markus Poschner, Michael Sanderling, John Storgårdsand Franz Welser-Möst. His repertoire includes the standard violin concertos of course, as well as Khachaturian, Szymanowski 1 and Berg (all coming up) and a wealth of interesting recital and chamber music programmes.

Il ventiquattrenne violinista austriaco Emmmanuel Tjeknavorian, è stato chiamato a sostituire Renaud Capuçon per tre concerti al Kennedy Center di Washington, il 09, 10 e 11 Maggio.

Grande successo per il giovane violinista Emmanuel Tjeknavorian in occasione del suo debutto con la Filarmonica della Scala, ieri sera a Milano. Il concerto ha registrato il tutto esaurito; alla direzione dell'orchestra il Maestro Riccardo Chailly.

Il giovane violinista viennese Emmanuel Tjeknavorian è stato nominato Artist in Residence per la Stagione 2019/20 del Musikverein di Vienna; è il più giovane musicista a ricoprire questo ruolo. Per l'occasione, suonerà in concerti da camera e con orchestra durante la Stagione che celebra i 150 anni dalla fondazione della sala da concerto viennese.

Un talento eccezionale: Tjeknavorian  usa il virtuosismo con moderazione, accarezza le corde, rischia anche durezze ed inesattezze, ma  pretendendo sempre da se e dal suo strumento il massimo possibile.  Rising Star di questa stagione,  nessuna  esteriorità, nessuno stratagemma,  l’understatement può  essere  molto
