MARC ALBRECHT

This weekend MARC ALBRECHT will be awarded by the most prestigious German Prize OPUS KLASSIK as "Conductor of the Year" for his latest recording of Zemlinsky's Mermaid. The critic Rbb Kultur writes "A fabulous recording. (...) Marc Albrecht always has the gift of bringing out transparency, light and filigree structures in these lush, late-Romantic orchestral masses."
 
Now conducting  in Sao Paulo. Until the end of this season, further invitations will bring him to the Scala Filarmonica Milan, the Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
 
On the opera stage, he will premiere TANNHÄUSER at the Semperoper Dresden in January, as well as Janacek's JENUFA in Vienna and Schreker's SCHATZGRÄBER at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. 
The Opéra National de Paris and the Royal Opera House London are scheduled again with projects for the following season 2023/24.
