Quartetto di Cremona and Andrea Lucchesini

At the Foundation Spinola in Banna the Quartetto di Cremona and Andrea Lucchesini are recording the Piano quintet of Saint Saens. The CD, which also includes the string quartet nr. 1 of Saint Saens will be released by the label Audite in September and will be presented in Venice for the Foundation Bru Zane on 29 September.

Daniel Smith triumphs in Genova

Standing ovation for Daniel Smith at the end of an exhuberant concert that marked his debut with the Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra in Genova: «An amazing concert, which will remain forever in our hearts. Tito Ceccherini got another extraordinary success in Toulouse

Italian conductor Tito Ceccherini got a personal outstanding success in Toulouse opening last week the new season of Théâtre du Capitole in the new production of Dallapiccola Il Prigioniero and Bartok The Bluebeard Castle, amazingly staged by Aurélien Bory and the visual artist Vincent Fortemps:

The Théâtre du Capitole has immediately invited Tito Ceccherini back to open the 2016/17 season with Berlioz Béatrice et Bénédict in October 2016 and to conduct Mozart Die Entführung aus dem Serail in February 2017.

Daniel Smith makes triumphant debut with London Philharmonic Orchestra

Conductor Daniel Smith made a triumphant debut with the London Philharmonic last week which led to an immediate reengagement in 2017.

The program included Beethoven Symphony No.1, Haydn Harpsichord Concerto with Maria Meerovitch, Rossini Il barbiere di Siviglia Overture and Mozart Symphony No.41.

The performance has been acclaimed in the media with a praiseworthy review in The Argus:
“Beethoven was delivered with sparkling rhythms and graceful pointing: the feather light touch in the Minuet is not an easy accomplishment. […] Rossini was fun and Mozart magnificent. But the palm goes to young Australian conductor Daniel Smith for his uncomplicated joy in making music, for his expansive, courtly gestures, his radiantly expressive energy – and for conducting without a score.”  wrote Louise Schweitzer

Other highlights of the 15/16 season include return to the White Night Festival with the Mariinsky Orchestra (July 19) and to the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi (July 23 & 26) during EXPO. He will also make his debut with the RAI Symphony Orchestra of Turin and Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

Stanislav Kochanovsky triumphs at the Mariinsky

Extraordinary success for STANISLAV KOCHANOVSKY in Beethoven Ninth Symphony at the Mariinsky Theatre of St. Petersburg.

This concert marks the first of a series of new invitation after the excellent opera debut last December 9th in Boris Godunov with a superb cast: Edem Umerov (Boris), Olga Borodina (Marina), Yevgeny Nikitin (Rangoni), Yevgeny Akimov (Grigori), Alexei MARKOV (Shchelkalov) …

Kochanovsky will be back to the Mariinsky on January 22nd (Tosca), on April 21st again for Boris and in July for the White Night Festival.

Tito Ceccherini debuts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France

Kochanovsky makes his debut at The Stars of the White Nights Festival

Under the invitation of Valery Gergiev, on June 20th STANISLAV KOCHANOVSKY will make his debut at "The Stars of the White Nights Festival" of St. Petersburg for the first time on the podium of the Mariinsky Orchestra. He will conduct works by Smetana, Chopin and Dvorak at the Mariinsky Concert Hall.

On June 21st he will conduct a concert with Anna Netrebko at the St.Petersburg International Economic Forum in "Tsarskoe Selo" (the Catherine Palace).
