Stanislav Kochanovsky was born and studied in St. Petersburg where he rose in immediate evidence, early graduating with honors at the famous St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in Organ and Opera-Symphony Conducting.
Stanislav recently made his debut at the distinguished Verbier Festival, where he conducted Evgenij Onegin with the Festival Academy Singers and the Junior Orchestra.
From 2010 to 2015 Stanislav was Principal Conductor of The State Safonov Philharmonic Orchestra of Kislovodsk. His activity already includes more than 50 symphonic programs, 5 festivals and 7 opera productions. Highlights include Scriabin's Prometheus (The Poem of Fire) and Symphony No.3 (The Divine Poem); a Rachmaninov cycle which included a new production of Aleko; Rubinstein's Demon and Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde.
